Tekken 3 had Ball mode which unlocked Gon, and Force which unlocked Dr Bosconovich. Tekken Tag is the bowling one. But your point still stands either way.

It's not about entitlement, it's about what was free as opposed to trying to make a quick dollar off your loyal fans. Capcom (Scamcom) can get away with it apparently, so now other fighting game companies are following suit to see how far they can take it before this new fad crashes. I have the season pass, and even I'm not interested just out of principle. If it was free (even if it was an unlockable) I'd jump on it; paid? I'll pass.

The idea of some fans, with too much money, argue in favor of this, is proof they need to find a new hobby.

Hahaha, now imagine going to an arcade where playing a fighting game cost 50+ cents and your opponent knows everything or the CPU is set to the hardest difficulty. arcade really isn't a fair comparison. I put tons of money into Metal Slug, Final Fight and various racing games that I never got good at.

For console based software, $90 is absolute overkill for a game based around the fighters, meaning the fighter should be free at any and all costs.

All this Season passes and dlc shit Disc Lock Content or Decievingly Later Content is way out of hand over due, taking the piss on the consumers. Fleecing gamers like Apple Fleece Hipsters. We all need to stop supporting this bullshit or it will only continue and before you know it you be paying to play even when you bought the dam game with real cash anyway. Continues or special moves, a cool down timer on the duration you are allowed to play for in one setting. Removing Pop up ads and online multiplayer que timer clocks labeling users as premium depend what they paid to remove the timer countdown cooldown. Mark my words. Some one will do it if they have similar things on free games, it will cross over eventually.
