you can't have it all buddy. Be happy with what they're offering. It's a gem of games!

Donkey Kong Country. So good.

Orejillz2530d ago

That's the one I'm surprised is missing most of all.

What's the point in this Mini consoles if they don't have a shit load of games on them. If they had as many as they could where it's over filled then I could get behind them

I'd say a good 50 at least

Orejillz2529d ago

That's kind of where I'm at with them. Like I like the 21 on there, but like... there are so many others that should be able to fit on them.

Remember the Ultimate Sega Genesis Collection last gen, it was just a game sure not a mini console but that thing had 50 games on it. 10 of them being unlockable.

So if a disc can have so many I'm sure you'd expect more from a mini console.

Orejillz2529d ago

exactly, I think these companies and generations with such insane libraries should definitely go that route. And since the SNES classic won't let us update with new games it feels like a huge missed opportunity.

Well you see, since they have less games than the NES mini did, they had to increase the price as well. Then you take those profits and dump them into the... profit cycle.

Wish Mother 3 was included, but I'll be happy with Earthbound!

Just yesterday I was playing Dankey Kang Country. :) I still prefer the platforming in that to the original Mario games.

They don't make games with soul anymore.
It was Final Fantasy Emo Nomura from here on.

It really is. I think it's a 2D masterpiece: 10.

crazyaejay2134d ago

Agreed. Such happy vibes, too! :D

Einhander19712134d ago

Yes certainly a 2D masterpiece 😀

Some things never change. I went back through Yoshi's Island just the end of last year for the umpteenth time and it's still amazing.

Soundtrack is superb until is ruined by crying baby Mario :-D

Mavericks and mayhem - Mega Man X: A First-Timer's Perspective

"I love classic SNES games and Mega Man X was one such title that I felt compelled to play and I finally did so on the SNES Mini. It doesn't have many action games and the only other 2D shooters are Super Metroid and the controller-throwing Contra III: The Alien Wars." - Alex
