No game is perfect, but it seems like most of the complaints about this game are minority complaints, i.e. most people would disagree. Hard to call something a fault if most people don't agree it's a fault.

Sam was a plot hole that they could have easily fixed if they said they weren't biological brothers but they decided to just glide over that like it was nothing. That's lazy

Hey and you know what's NOT lazy and actually pretty ballsy ? introducing such a big important character that has a risk of screwing everything up in the fourth and final game and making it work perfectly fine. Why is Sam being his brother a plot hole ? because it contradicts some stuff from the most irrelevant uncharted game IMO and arguably the worst UC of them all ? i don't care ..

The platforming got pretty repetitive and stale for me.

I didnt think the action set pieces were as memorable.

The multiplayer was pretty passable imo.

But yeah great game otherwise.

I wasn't really a fan of the MP, loved, loved the game though! So sad I finished it when I did, sigh. Some parts dragged on a little too long, could've been shorter (Scotland cave stuff), but before I it annoyed me too much it was over already. So yeah, fantastic game overall!

Septic is a far better troll than most on this site. Septic is like the Number 1 Contender to the N4G Troll World Heavyweight Championship. Rookie previously held the previous iteration of the title but he ran off with the belt like CM Punk, he came back but a new belt was made to replace it and that was held by Overlord. This led to a unification ladder match which Overlord won because he got MasterCornholio to take the belts from the ladder and pass them to him exploiting the No DQ rule. It's needs them big, breathtaking set pieces back. Uncharted 4 was seriously lacking in that department compared to U2 and U3. It was still a great game but it weren't the highlight of the series

Well, the author made several good points about gameplay features present in previous installments of the series but absent from UC4: no counter attack during melee, players are unable to throw grenades back, and a request for control consistency between single and multiplayer overhead attacks.

Are these nitpicks? Mostly, except perhaps for the comment about countering attacks. It was present in every previous game but weirdly absent from UC4. I would love to see it return.

The way he does it can't be banned through normal means. They'd have to go to more advanced stuff which they aren't likely to do as it would likely have to be done by server admins(MAC address banning which isn't always possible depending on how he accesses the computer).....or something complex like contacting his ISP to file a complaint.

Great game, it rounded off the lives of these characters pretty well, There was too much platforming at the beginning and the game got better as it went on.

MP is very well made and enjoyable.

I would still say both Uncharted and Tomb-raider hold your hand too much in traversing. it needs to be a challenge.

Sadly, I think the reboot was to try and evolve the character and make the game less action oriented, and more story oriented compared to the older one's. Sadly, they failed miserably, and made a bland, unintereting, and weak lead character with little to no reason to feel any connection to them that isn't achieved through forced narrative events that incite emotions, but produce no empathy for the actual character.

The only thing with uncharted 4 was it felt quite long but maybe that's just me. Apparently the lost legacy is around the same length as drakes fortune which would be perfect for me. Uncharted is best when it's a 10 hour tight and action packed adventure. Getting more hyped as we get closer to release.

Why is everyone always kissing Amy Hennig's ass ? She created Nate and she was a big part of Uncharted yes buuuut Uncharted 3 wasn't that good definitely the worst in the franchise so it's good that she left otherwise UC4 wouldn't be this good if she worked on it.

Oh please....that wasn't her fault. After the huge success of the second game they wanted to get the third one going straight away but this was the time when they created two teams so one could do the Last of Us.

To get the third one out quickly, fresh off the heels of Uncharted 3s success they obviously didn't have as much time as they did with Uncharted 2, plus that was with a bigger team aswell.

Face it. Uncharted wouldn't be the series we know today without Amy, it was her seed that the team watered and natured into what we now all know.

Her idea for Uncharted 4 with Sam being the villain sounded better aswell, least Nate would have an emotional connection to the villain and they didn't feel like throw away characters you couldn't give a shit about like Rafe/Nadine.

Alright maybe i was a bit too harsh and don't get me wrong! i understand what she did for the franchise and that it wouldn't be the same without her and i know only half of the ND team worked on UC3 because it really really shows. But either way she didn't do such a great job on UC3..

Yes i like the idea as Sam being the villain although i don't know how would that work what could he do against you and where could he get enough bad guys and resources to provide a challenge and make your life a living hell ? I mean at lest Rafe was a super rich and connected guy and he was pure scum so i dunno that idea just doesn't feel right.

Oh and having a interesting idea (such as the brother character being the main villain) is one thing but executing it properly is entirely different and i don't think Amy had what it takes to make that work.

Yeah it was a great game, my only problem with it was the fact that so much of the game is dedicated to long, barely interactive sections like pulling the container out of the river and the prison section and the scene later on with Nate and Sam breaking into the house as kids. The puzzles weren't great either, and they're a total slog to get through on repeat playthroughs -- that one where you have to take pictures of the paintings spring to mind. The biggest and best set piece in the game is just a better version of the vehicle chase scene that was in 2 and 3 and while it's fantastic, it takes up maybe 15 minutes of the 12 hour running time. The story is disappointing too, Naughty Dog were talking up how Drake was going to have to choose between family and adventure in this one, but by the end of the game, nothing has changed and no one has grown or learned anything -- Drake gets to have his cake and eat it too. But yeah, those few shootouts in the game were very satisfying and the whole things just looks so darn lovely -- so 10/10 I guess................

I completely agree. I thought the game as a whole was quite boring, to be honest. Many fans crap on U3, but at least it was fun to play and the puzzles were way better. Because of my disappointment with U4, I'm a little hesitant about Lost Legacy, but it looks promising. I just have to see more before buying.:/
