Indie darling The Last Night stepped onto the big stage this week at E3. The game was announced as an Xbox exclusive during the same event that Microsoft officially revealed its powerful new 4K console: the Xbox One X. After those proceedings, we sat down with Odd Tales' Tim Soret for an update on the "cinematic platformer".
The PlayStation Brahs:
“What a year we had for Indie games in 2019. Once again Indie developers delivered games that showed the gaming community that not all great games come from AAA studios. As we look ahead 2020 is full of Indie goodness! Here’s my top 10 as of today!”
Glitched lists five upcoming games that you’ve probably heard about, and it might’ve even sparked your interest, but the roar of triple-A marketing stunts perhaps silenced its voice.
Tim Soret the developer working on The Last Night sheds some more light on the game and how it will play.
We need much more information on this fantastic looking game.
Anyone remember Flashback or Out of this World...but mainly Flashback. This is what this game seriously reminds me of.
One of the games that really stuck out to me. Looks really unique.
I wouldn't say that we are in the 4K generation. No yet at least.
According to the steam survey only 0.83% of people use a 4K monitor. (May 2017 stats). And I doubt the TV stats are too much higher. While 4K consoles are already coming out, I still believe that we are many years away from being a 4K generation.
The game looks absolutely gorgeous. Hell, it looks better than some of the AAA games.
This game blew me away at e3. so freaking beautiful.
This is the one game at the MS conference that interested me. Will most likely be picking this one up. If only to support the developer against the rabid social justice hate squad.
