Crash Bandicoot PS4: Two playable characters in trilogy and CTR reveal expected

Crash Bandicoot PS4 trilogy could feature a second playable character, and rumors are getting stronger that Crash Team Racing may be announced.

Well, I would assume Coco would be the second character. I mean, she has some stages already in Warped and is a prominent character in the second and third game. Crunch is the only other character I can think of but he isn't introduced until later on. Edit: after reading the article, my theory appears to be correct. If so, I'm even more interested in this trilogy than before. I mean, I've had plenty of waifus since Coco, but she was one of my first back in the day.

FYI: All this speculation is based off a tiny mention of a special announcement in the Activision blog when talking about the Crash Remaster. It's really not much of a mention and likely points to a new feature, extra content, or the special edition.

There's really nothing indicating that a new Crash will be shown off so don't get your hopes up too high.

When I was younger, I always thought it was a pitty that Coco was only restricted to very specific levels. It would be pretty great to have her fully playable.

Seeing the list, the platinums are definitely achievable but obviously a challenge. It's also great to see if you get stuck on some of the vaguely descriptive trophies, the pictures/icons shown with the trophies are a great clue to how the trophies can be achieved.

For example the Crash Warped 'Accept No Substitutes - Shoot the Impostor' trophy shows you have to use the wumpa bazooka on a character called 'Fake Crash' (who I believe originally only appeared if you got over 100% completion percentage), 'Warts and All - Die' shows Crash as a frog, a death scene involving a wizard turning crash into a Frog. 'Keeping Crash Under Wraps - Die' shows Crash wrapped in cloth, I believe that's a death scene involving a mummy in the egyptian tomb levels but I don't remember it wrapping Crash, only holding him up and squeezing him to death. 'Trigger Clickin Good - Shoot 5 of them in a single level' is shooting chickens in I believe the first medieval level with the wumpa bazooka, although I don't remember there being 5 in the first level in the original, only about 2 or 3. 'Your Moment Of Zen - Avoid whatever he's flinging at you' I'm not too sure about this one but it could be on the Arabian levels, which definitely had a lot of stuff flinging around from swords to hot coals.

edit - 'Your Moment Of Zen - Avoid whatever he's flinging at you' - I just remembered the monkeys in the Egyptian levels which throw stuff at you, seeing as the icon looks like a monkey it's likely to be that.

I'm actually suprised Activision hasn't tried to bring back CTR. Mario Kart is very popular and it's the only good kart racer around but it's only available on Nintendo consoles, Activision could have similar success by bringing back CTR. CTR was my favourite kart racer so I would be happy to see it return.
