Ubisoft cannot promise South Park: The Fractured But Whole will not be censored

The director for the design of Ubisoft San Francisco, Paul Cross, said that he did not feel he could promise that South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be free of any censorship on the European market.

The first game was pretty great based off the story and its genuine south park feel. Take that away and you get a pretty bad rpg. Pulling a sjw here would ruin the game.

If it's censored in the U.K. I'll buy the game and pirate an uncensored version. While I'm not going to throw my toys around over it, it would certainly be a shame considering what South Park is all about.

Here in New Zealand we got the censored European version of Stick of Truth, hope they don't pull that shit on us again

With the stick of truth they managed to make a good joke out of the censorship so it still worked in their favour but I can't see that having the same charm again

Here in the US it was somewhat self censored based on TV regulations, but over time, as paid cable channels started relaxing their rules, and the FCC allowed it, they've always been the first to break the barrier of what was considered acceptable for TV. They actually had a whole episode about it, where they said "sh*t" over and over again..

The Stick of Truth being censored was complete bull c***. The game had an 18 rating, why does it need to be censored? Plenty of games have blood, gore, sex scenes etc and they don't get censored so why should South Park games get censored ? There is no reason for the next game to be censored either.
