I love this saga!!
Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaah!!!!!

Hopefully Ubi will get their shit together and pick up were MGS has left(died?) off (post Kojima era) and deliver the best in 3rd person action stealth out there.

I really missed playing as Sam Fisher...its been what...12 years since I played Chaos theory?

Lets see if it will be multiplatform first though...

Number_92530d ago

Please no. I did not like MGS storytelling at all! Unnecessarily convoluted and cringy.

All I want for the next Splinter Cell is Ironside back please. Blacklist was a step in the right direction after the missteps of Conviction

Goldby2530d ago

@Number 9

yeah we definitely need to have ironside back.

Even if hes sam fisher training the next splintercell op. or a new splintercell op having to rescue him.

Bring back Pandora tomorow Spy vs merc with campaign similar to chaos theory

Chaos Theory... What memories...

JBaby3432530d ago

I too love this series. SC, Pandora Tomorrow, and Chaos Theory were all fantastic. Double Agent and Conviction were bad but Blacklist was a lot of fun and started the series back in the right direction. Ironside is definitely missed.

err I used to.

I hope it returns to former glory ala Chao Theory. An IP I really miss.

Bigpappy2531d ago

I read many rumors about this. Hope its at E3

murderlo2531d ago

Yes. There were rumors about it. Now we know that Ubisoft works on something.

masterfox2531d ago

that would be freaking awesome!

paseirek2531d ago

The last SC was awesome. I hope it stays the same

murderlo2531d ago

Yes. Back to the origins of the saga.

It's rough to see Ubisoft complaining about games not being successful etc, while they sit churning out the same games over and over again and leave obvious money sitting on the table by doing franchises like Splinter Cell wrong.

Whilst I loved the SC multiplayer, I still think they were kind of niche due to the complexity of the maps and learning curve. I wished they made better practice bots though for solo play. Co-op is pretty decent though but not enough players and a very intimate experience. You couldn't really play with randoms who ignore the stealth, so had to play with friends.
