Square Enix has announced today that it's entering a partnership with People Can Fly, who are known for developing Bulletstorm and helping with Gears of War: Judgement, to work on a “high-end original title” for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
“We’re massively excited to be working with the talented team at PCF in Warsaw, a studio filled with people who really know their craft,” said Lee Singleton, Head of Studio at Square Enix London Studios. “We’re building a game we all want to play which will be the perfect addition to our portfolio.”
2K Games will take the stage at Summer Game Fest, and it is about time we got some good news about the state of Mafia 4's development.
I hope it's Mafia 4. And I really hope it's set during the 70s or 80s, and not a prequel of the first game as was rumoured.
EA Sports dropped their first gameplay trailer for College Football 25 today and the game looks truly amazing. Buried in the details of the game hype, however, is a significant letdown for those who play online dynasty (a significant portion of the userbase).
Many details for the upcoming rumored Resident Evil 1 remake have already leaked online. Capcom appears to have huge ambitions for it.
While I want another modern remake of 1, I think code Veronica should be first. The first re1 remake holds up amazingly well. Give CV it's due.
Cool
When People Can Fly don't sell more than 5 million copies of this game be prepared for SE to whine about poor sales again. At least they can't abandon this developer like they intend to do to IO Interactive.
Must be another "You make the game, and we'll publish it" kind of deal.
