Naughty Dog Reportedly "Very, Very Impressed" with Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Producer Kara Massie said that Vicarious Visions got "overwhelmingly positive" feedback from Naughty Dog on Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

Me neither. Can't wait for the game to arrive on the 30th June. I have all three PS1 games installed on PS3 and I am 100% supporting this remaster. It may not be a Naughty Dog game anymore but Activision look to have done a great job with this. You can see why Naughty Dog are impressed.

We just don't know. The facts as it stands are:
1. Sony or Activision haven't explicitly said it's exclusive, but
2. It hasn't been announced for any other platform.

Right now it's a PlayStation only game. Until stated otherwise by either Sony or Activision, that's the only way we can view it really.

The game wouldn't sell much on xbox anyway, so exclusivity could be possible with very little compensation by sony.

In addition i think i read that sony still holds some kind of legal rights on the 3 old games, but i'm not sure about that.

Not confirmed yet but i guess sony/activision will pull a ROTR with this and have a one year exclusivity (although i dont think it is as problematic as it was with tomb raider as people already recognize the games as sony)

crash is sony though. the only reason he's been on other consoles is because of Activision. ND created Crash.

The fact that we don't know yet and nothing concrete has been said, it's probably timed-exclusive, or a console-exclusive at best. Sony's marketing sometimes makes odd mistakes labelling games so that could explain the conflicting reports.

I think Sony had more of a hand in the making of this game than people think, because we had Crash Bandicoot heavily hinted at (if not actually borderline confirmed) in some of the earliest marketing material for PS4, as if they knew they wanted to make it happen as a platform holder and approached Activision about it. Street Fighter V was hinted at in those same materials and that comes to mind as a console exclusive.

Funny how I'm looking at this game as if it's a heavy hitter. Other than overwatch which isn't a first party game, there hasn't been a game other than ratchet and clank that's had my attention from the library of PS4 games. No denying Nintendo dominates the first party market but sometime sucks not having something to throw on the PS4 that's unique to it being on PS4. In the end it's all preference, games like bloodborne take to much time and grind and with a family the focus isn't their, in general PS4 library is pretty underwhelming and that's now, a year ago was even worse

In exactly one month a mind-blowing level of nostalgia will explode in my head and buzz everything around even greater than *that* scene in Uncharted 4. Now Warped gameplay has released I am more hyped now than ever especially knowing this game will deliver on it's promises based on the masses of evidence provided. Vicarious Visions has done one hell of a job and overall has regained some respect back for Activision for having the balls to do this and be faithful to the greats of the originals. I can't wait to grab three platinums (or at the very least, the platinum for Warped, and boy it will be a prized possession on my trophy record)

With Bandicoot and Wipout returning this month I really couldn't be happier.......now if the would just remaster SSX Tricky and Demon Souls my dream would be complete.

Having watched a bunch of videos I think they have done a superb job, it's faithful to the originals while still looking and sounding like a modern game, cannot wait for this....my next 3 platinum trophies for sure.

Really glad to hear this from the OG developer, even if most of the team who worked on the original Crash games is gone, they have lineage there, and I'm sure the games and the character are close to their hearts as a studio.
