I loved regular Destiny....I didn't get into the expansions past the first one though as I didn't care about the story.

Really looking forward to Destiny 2 though as they will have fixed some things wrong with the first..should be overall/all around a better game.

same here. i thought destiny gameplay was tight and fluid. The DLC plan and lack of content was a punch to the gut. So many things promised not in the base game and just squeezed everything they could out of the players

I would buy day 1 if it had cross-play with PC. Without it, probably won't buy it at all. Stopped paying for PSN Plus a while ago and the only friends I know that would buy it are on PS4. Funny thing is, those two guys won't buy it unless I buy it too so we can have a proper squad.

Cross play with pc would spell doom. Keyboard and mouse would shred controllers.

100% certain my friends wouldn't care and just be happy to have a third person to play with. Keep it out of competitive or force controller if playing with console.

Article calls it a blockbuster sequel. How can it be a blockbuster when it hasn't launched yet? I always thought when it comes to gaming like movies blockbuster refers to performance in sales or a certain success. Oh well, guess the artificial hype train well be full steam ahead on this one.

Blockbusters in film terms relates to the big budget movies. This is why you read articles on 'this summers blockbusters', but of course they haven't been released yet. What you are describing is a box office hit or box office smash, not a blockbuster.

Can they give us details about improvements to:

-weapon balance, I hate selective weapon metas that only make <10 weapons viable while the other hundreds are average/useless

-pvp, dedicated servers or trash p2p like CoD/Destiny 1?

-updates, will we get monthly updates or do we have to go 3-4 months at a time?

-integrity, will bungie continue to lie about features and justifications?

I was pondering the thought of PC but instead, I will return to PS4 and play Destiny 2. I just don't like the route they chose for selling the game digitally. Steam would've been a better choice because who really here doesn't have Steam? They didn't even talk about transfers from D1 to D2 also which is kind of dumb.

You know you can download and run either client for free? Activision Blizzard are going to promote their own client. No transfers from D1.

Why would I want to do that? I have D1 on PS4 and since they won't do transfers from console to PC the logical approach me for is to go back to PS4. Even though it will look better on PC with my setup I'd rather sacrifice that and retrieve my status from D1. Sorry but downvoting for something as silly as my opinion is kinda childish.
