I don't think it is too bad, not the best game out there but still fun to play.

The one things that Iiked from the game was the combat and the graphics. Other than that, boring plot and side quests, clichéd characters, lack of epic space ship battles, Ai, unfair save points, empty world and the terrible camera angles prevents the game from being good.

Also, on a side note, don't buy Akiba's Beat if still looking playing other RPGs. The game was almost as disappointing as SO5. Not hugely since I doubt people were excited about the game but it is still bad.

it's quite bad. They took the cutscenes which people complained before as they were too long, and made them into something sort of the first Assassins creed game, so the conversations go in real-time. And from time to time you will have a 'full cutscene'.
My second problem with the game is that they made the combat way too simply, best combat mode was Star Ocean 4, this one is just getting two shortcuts and spamming them. Wish they still had the blindside.

Sure they do. Especially the ones from many years ago that they likely don't have anymore. If they want to play their PS3 games, they just put them in their ps3 and play them though.

I really didn't like SO3. It was a neat game in a lot of ways, but the whole time playing it felt like a chore and artificially lengthened to feel more full.

It's great to have more JRPGs though and I hope we get Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria because that game is phenomenal.

yea i hope y'all dont get ur hopes up about better resolution and framerate and all that. its a port, nothing more nothing less. rouge galaxy was the same. 4:3 screen plus trophy support.
