They really have brainwashed there players. They don't even care about games anymore. All the see is 4K.............with zero new exclusives and they don't even care or complain.

Well, games like Horizon, God Of War, Days Gone, The Last Of Us, Uncharted, The Last Guardian etc will always look and play better on the PS4 Pro and thats a fact.
Plus, they won't necessarily perform better, that's less of hardware issue, more of a dev issue. Remember, you can't have a Scorpio game targeting 60FPS if the Xbox One version can only target 30. That would mean Microsoft would be screwing over their core Xbox One base...........oh hold on, yeah they probably will then.

Well since PS4 Pro never claimed to be true 4k like Scorpio does the bigger disappointment would naturally be Scorpio but sure both are objectively obsolete if it makes you feel better.

Being a VR owner, I don't ever see them being mainstream in their current form. They need to drop the wires and become an all in one device (VR with the gaming console built directly into the headset). Right now they're clumsy at best, and once that "magic" you felt experience a VR world for the first time wears off, you realize good games with more that 2-3 hours of content are few and far between.

What about the cost, weight and heat issues? Nah VR needs to be 4K wireless and it will be fine.

You can stream the content from a PC, like games on demand over a local network to bypass that issue. But I agree with the games, taking a low quality game and playing it at 4K or 8K is just a really sharp bad game. Games like Stalker, Metro and The Witcher are where its at.

Im a console gamer, but im not blind and never will console gaming reach near the graphical level of a gaming pc. The Money diference is huge and a average gamer cant pay 1500 or 2000 for a gaming PC

Screw 8k just want fun games . When 8 is viable sure , but most companies cant make 4k games , they are too expensive for assets etc.

Who is even thinking about 8K seriously at this moment? It simply isn't feasible yet. What about bandwidth strain? Storage solutions? What type of a cooling system do you need to run this optimally and with a great frame rate? How many displays will support this? How long before it's widely supported by tv manufacturers? How much will it cost? How long will it take the price to come down?
