I enjoyed the campaign as well. A lot of people just seemed to be following the hate hype...

alphafallen2749d ago

I agree with what you're saying but at the same time there were people who just didnt want to go to the future.

Agheil2749d ago

Thats true but how did they know if they didn't like it or not. This is full on sci-fi. They compared IW with BO 3 and every other future COD. Those weren't sci-fi like this one.

alphafallen2749d ago

@Agheil That could be the case. Not all gamers like sci-fi. Especially with a franchise like Call of Duty, people expect something close to realistic.

Agheil2749d ago

@Alphafallen lol... There are 3 devs, making 3 Call of Duty games. Is it too much to ask for variety?

alphafallen2749d ago

@Agheil Activision should just make another series and not call it Call of Duty and that could go full sci-fi

firelens2748d ago

@PlayableGamez- You say that but they're are still millions still playing the series and still sells better than most games.

EyeAmTJ2747d ago

by going to the future in space shit just like every other game...first zombies like left 4 dead/dead rising type game to wall running like titanfall, now the future lol

Bahamut2747d ago

Yeah I just want mostly modern weapons.

firelens2749d ago

The E3 gameplay showcase is a perfect example of people's blind hate for this game lol

Agheil2749d ago

The campaign was great, people just need to give it a chance. :)

PlayableGamez-2748d ago

If you don't understand why people are finished with COD, I feel sorry for you.

electricbanshi2748d ago

People buy the games because they enjoy them, simple. You don't? Them don't buy them, simple.

PlayableGamez-2747d ago

Cool. Then stop telling people to go buy COD IW. If they don't want to support COD IW, they don't have to. So f*ck off with this blind hate bull crap.

Trekster_Gamer2747d ago

Why feel sorry for us the game still outsells just about every other game out there that's proof that people still like and enjoy their product and a few haters and whiners like you won't change it.

JoeDG2748d ago

The campaign is not the problem. The most of us don't want scifi MP. We want boots on the grund no special moves or weapons. Right now is more a copy of the titanfall concept and no COD

Agheil2748d ago

So you'd want a sci-fi campaign, a modern MP. I don't know how that would work.

iTechHeads2747d ago

Yup. Just bandwagon trolls.

kparks2747d ago

The campaign may be good but most everyone plays for the multiplayer and that's not good.

firelens2749d ago

A sequel would add a good variety to the 3 games but Activision cant take the risk of losing sales because one genre of cod isnt as popular as another. Thats why they all tend to go in the same route.

Agheil2749d ago

I agree thats why I don't think a sequel is on the horizon for 2019. I just have hope haha

NoFanboyJustLovGames2747d ago

I can gaurentee that there will be a IW2 the game is amazing, people can hate all they want. Activision will bring this back around in a few years......

Trekster_Gamer2747d ago

Agreed, the game was amazing.

electricbanshi2748d ago

For the campaign, I agree but for the MP nope...

Vegamyster2748d ago

Same boat, loving the campaign so far but MP is too much mindless run & gunning.

peewee110162748d ago

I would love it as well. The single player in this CoD was the best I have ever played... The sense of losing and everything about it was amazing.... Naughty dog and IW did amazing on this single player exp

peewee110162748d ago (Edited 2747d ago )

They helped write and work with IW for the story line .
Don't understand the dislikes lol. You lazy scrubs can go look it up urself and see that naughty dog played a huge role in the campaign mode

Dirtnapstor2747d ago

I vaguely remember something about this so I looked it up....yes it is true, two ND vets got hired on with Infinity Ward some time ago. Haven't gotten to play much yet, but with what I've started, I've been really impressed so far.
