Dance Dance Revolution X is lackluster game. If you're a DDR diehard, the new songs are sure to attract you to the product and the controls are as solid and pulse-pounding as ever, so IGN can see why you'd pick this up. However, DDR SuperNOVA 2 outdoes this title in every way and that's a game that's been on the market for close to a year. Online play, Hyper Master Mode, and the joy of earning money for the store are gone; Dance Dance Revolution X is a step backward and a disappointment for fans.

Dance Dance Revolution may have burned through its 15 minutes of fame faster than Rebecca Black, but much like a greatest hits album, I keep coming back to the classics -- and I have the dance mats to prove it.

You know this kind of sucks if your an adult and like DDR, if I go in there not going to make a fool of myself by buying a kids meal to get that coupon. Then again, their hasn't been another DDR to this date that I've wanted. Many have become so butchered and skewed it's not really fun anymore. To many of a few American songs are kind of running the buzz for me, and to few Jpop and JRock songs.
What Konami should do is go the Rock band and Guitar Hero route by making a DDR game PS3, Wii, and 360 and offer DLC for it. That way no one will have to worry about picking up another copy to play songs they want to and Konami won't have to waste their time doing more of the discs. Of course if this happens I'd like a create-a-character mode just as well.

I think I'll have me a big greasy American burger value meal with no toy instead. Subway really is not that great...worst sandwich chain around....if it takes you eating out to have a "healthy lifestyle", then you are living a pretty sh!tty life.

With literally dozens of Revolution titles ranging from the various Karaoke Revolution iterations, and even more Dance Dance Revolution offshoots, it is a solid indication that there is a fairly solid community of Revolution fans out there buying these games.
While I have a bit of experience with the Kararoke Revolution titles over the years, I have never really paid much interest in the Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) franchise.
