The action only comes alive when you've got the entire cast to pick between and a catalogue of POW skills to play with. Of course, by this time it's all a bit too late - the finale is impressive, but it comes too quickly. It takes Sonic a whole game to find his legs, but when he does Chronicles zips along wonderfully.
So, when hit with the inevitable 'to be continued...' don't let out the traditional cry of frustration. Instead, think of it this way: there's more to come.

to be fair tho, the rpg for the DS was a mess.
touchscreen-only was not a good way to make a game like this.
I wish Sega got together with Square and made a Sonic RPG for the Genesis I would have played that.
Just because the first one sucked, doesn't mean Sega should abandon the idea of a Sonic RPG.

Dammit. I haven't played it but according to review and score, even the BioWare couldn't save the Sonic :(
Well sounds like it's a pretty decent game. The start is a little slow but by the end it's happy day :)
