It’s simple on paper: slog your way through five stages with increasing difficulty and destroy the time-warping inter-dimensional gum monster that lives in the planet’s core. Then rescue a giant robot head and go home. You know, that old chestnut. But the planet you crashed on has filled itself with weird, bloodthirsty monsters. They don’t want you to progress. They want you to die.
Movies Games and Tech writes: Loot Rascals is a turn based game and this is shown via the turn meter in the top right. As you move between the tiles, the counter changes. Combat begins when you share the same tile as an enemy and attacks are taken in turn, however it’s not as simple as getting lucky and hoping to get the bigger hit in.
