Why Everyone Needs to Play Final Fantasy IX in Their Lifetime

Final Fantasy IX is a great entry point into the RPG subgenre and Final Fantasy games in general.

I would suggest playing 7 , 8 , 9 and 10 plus 10 part 2 maybe 12 the rest can be ignored unless you don't mind snes graphics then try 6

I'd forget about 8 personally. Just wasn't very good imo and I hated 12. For me 6,7,9,10 and 15 are the ones to play. All really good games.

4, 5,and 6 (especially 6 since it's the best the series has to offer) are must play titles in the series. You are doing yourself a great disservice if you don't play them because "graphics" You can skip 10-2 and 12. 8 and 9 for sure are must plays. Can skip 10 as well. 7 should be played but mostly for the battles and the music, the characters and story in that...ugh.

I agree that way they will know to be ready for anything even for a game that had a really good story in the start to turn into a bloody mess that ruin everything in the end, so next time they will not get overhyped for anything they read about a game & keep their expectations as low as possible in order to not get disappointed badly in the end.
