As you'd expect but I think most people would like to see 4k benchmarks, not 1440p. Card is clearly overkill at that resolution.

2pacalypsenow2646d ago

56fps at 1440p, the card is still not a 4k 60fps at Max card :/

Fishy Fingers2646d ago

No not in some cases. The benchmarks with low FPS seems consistently poor across all cards.

Still I agree it's probably not the guaranteed 4k 60fps people hoped for. But with some tweaks you'd probably get close in the majority of games.

cartoonx12646d ago

so you picked 2 results and ignored all other 80+?, one can easily get 4k @60fps justdroping anti-aliasing on 1080ti on most modern games.

2pacalypsenow2646d ago

Keyword "Most", if you cant Max out every game at 2160p at 60fps then meh..

Kleptic2646d ago

Hardware will never outrun target development. To brute force a standard native 4k at no less than 60 fps at max settings across nearly all games just isn't realistic. If, and only if, a game is built from the ground up for to run at 4k, and nothing less, card's like this would be fine and do it impressively...but 90% of the optimization effort still goes into what 90% of the people playing games are using, and that isn't native 4k capable equipment.

Still though, why benches don't remove any form of AA, and still hold it as a 'max' setting...is beyond me. You don't need that at 4k, that is the main advantage a screen buffer of that size. It automatically 'AA's'.

@Fishy Fingers

Are you serious? The card cant even do max settings at 1440p and hold 60 fps in some games. I wouldn't call getting 30+fps in DuesEX 1440p overkill. This thing still wont be able to do 4k at decent settings.

My gtx1080 pretty much runs most games at 1440p at 144hz a second. Some you have to lower settings for to get that though.

Axel-Foley2646d ago

Try that in Witcher 3, GTA V, ARK.........
1080 is nice but no way you can run all games on ultra in 1440p. Let alone 144hz.

TardcoreGamer2646d ago

@Axel-Foley I have 1080 aswell and It stomps the S out of all those games you mentioned in 1440p. What the F are you talking about?

After seeing Witcher 3 and Hitman 2016 run on ultra at 4K 60 fps it sealed the deal for getting it.

I dismiss all trailers without actual gameplay. Any trailer can be made now with AI.

Sonic188116h ago(Edited 16h ago)

This was better than Sony state of play. With Phantom Blade Zero closing the show

P_Bomb15h ago

This was arguably the worst, most boring game show I’ve ever watched. CGI, live skits, just clown shoes.

Sonic188115h ago(Edited 15h ago)

That's the way I felt about Sony state of play. It was very boring to me. But it's a matter of opinion. TBH, *most* of Sony state of plays are boring imo except for the one they showed Resident Evil 4 a year ago

gold_drake16h ago

it was ok, no huuuge revelations.

Inverno15h ago

This was arse. Indie copy/paste, more MP games, Batman with yet another CG trailer lol, a lot of CG trailers, game trailers that try to sell their games as a big blockbuster media are cringe. This was 2 hours yo, where's the excitement? No really, I used to get so excited around E3 and now I tune into these events expecting disappointment and that's what they give. Doritos Pope has casualfy these gaming events. In an effort to make the industry look more mature they've killed its nerdy essence.
