Square-Enix PR reps have just handed RPGSite the box-art for the now 100% confirmed Kingdom Hearts - Re: Chain of Memories title launching on PS2 this Christmas, and boy is it pretty.
Kingdom Hearts merchandise might get a little ridiculous at times, but Square Enix has revealed one that makes perfect sense - a deck of cards based on the ones used in Chain of Memories.
Kingdom Hearts is a monolithic franchise that needs little introduction. But the beloved franchise almost never was, being developed as a gamble that two ideas could merge into something great.
Kingdom Hearts had these potentials with really deep atmospheres, then KH2 happened with the overwhelming weird informations and different people with tbe same enitity thing. It became overcomplicated series and never explaining anything in one release. Overall it is weirdly structured. Moreover, it is advetised to have Final Fantasy and Disney with original characters. Now it is all about versions of Sora/his friends and on other hand the versions of Xenoheart/his XIII thing.

one word: yummy
Sweet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^^
Dang that looks awesome, even though I have it for the GBA its tempting to get this 3D remake
It's OK with me to do little side games for big franchises like KH on the ps2. Draw the customers in to the franchise, and then make the ultimate outings on the PS3 so they have no choice than to buy it if they want to continue playing as their favorite protagonists.
Good boxart for a Kingdom Hearts game like always. Not sure If I will pick it up though
