Don't see why the Switch version would look any different. Doesn't exactly look like a graphically demanding game. That being said, I had no clue about this game, so I will definitely check it out. Although if they price me out of it, I will end up buying it on my PS4 instead.

This game is absolutely amazing it's definitely one of my favorite RPGs this is Generation.

It's not as good as world of Final Fantasy or Final Fantasy 15 but is still definitely very enjoyable

I would say it's in my top 10 this generation of favorite RPGs. It's not doing anything groundbreaking but the gameplay is very similar to Chrono Trigger in the story and music is really done really well I really really hope we see more sequels to this game in fact this game even being put on the switch at least shows that square has a confidence that they could do something with this long-term.

What makes me so upset is that this game I personally believe just did not receive the praise that it deserved from all the people that literally sound like they spent a career bashing Final Fantasy 15 a lot of those same people were basically absent on the Articles talking about this game despite it being turned base and basically sharing all the same concept as older Japanese RPGs.

This is a must-have Japanese RPG regardless of the platform you own.

I could not view the video that the article links too. The following is the video from the PS4 version https://www.youtube.com/wat... and I would be very surprised if the Switches version was any different.

On the PS4 the game is approximately 1.5GB in size and currently on PSN (Australia) it is on sale for $36 AUD (approx $28 USD). Actually, the RRP for the game (PS4) is $59.95 AUD ($45.95 USD).

From what I can gather the game will also be available from the Nintendo eShop when the Switch is launched with the price being MSRP: $39.99 (assuming USD) https://www.vgprice.com/pri... .

Agree

I'm still not really sure why they decided to do that maybe they feel the versions look so similar , I mean it can't possibly look any worse considering it's not as if the game is a PlayStation 4 title technically speaking this game as its base is technically a Vita game so I don't really think it's going to look that much different from the PlayStation 4 version.

I wonder if this also means the possibility of the switch getting world of Final Fantasy which I actually expected before I am setsuna.

Still wanting PS4 Physical copy :(

_-EDMIX-_2645d ago

That sounds just unlikely.

That would be cool and I would actually consider purchasing a second time just to have an unopened copy

it is definitely a special game.

Lol maybe they're not all the way done.

I'm not really sure why they didn't have the time to just make a quick trailer it seems very lazy on squares part.

This game needs to resemble the ps4 version exactly if they are using the same footage. If not then they are opening themselves to lawsuits and it is misleading advertising.

Edit:- just watched it and saw the ps4 footage sign. Hmmm not quite as misleading, but still unusual and a poor job. Maybe they just ran out of time to make a new trailer.

8 Underrated JRPG Games That You Can Play in 2021

From Xfire: "The golden era of JRPGs has long since passed, with more traditional RPGs having planted themselves firmly under the spotlight for the better part of the past two decades. However, while there's not been as many JRPG games released in recent years, there's still enough of them being released that results in certain titles slipping under the proverbial radar."

The only game I don’t own and never heard of is Fell Seal , I’ll look into it

NecrumOddBoy1172d ago

Highly recommended if you like FF Tactics. I believe it was Colin Moriarty's (Last Stand Media) GOTY last year.

Most of these are the weak story jrpgs which is why its an easy pass for myself. I don't have love to turn based or tactics battles systems but I enjoy the other aspects of jrpgs. The most important aspect to me is the story. I have put up with playing horrible battle systems and mini games that should never exist to enjoy the lengthy and amazing stories these games have. For some reason around the PS3 days they seemed to think, who cares about story just worry about battle system and crafting. So if those are the things you're looking for then this list is for you.

You must not have been playing RPGs for almost 30 years.

I’ve been trying to get back into playing JRPGs lately. With the recent release of Persona 5 Strikers, I finally decided to start playing Royal. I don’t know if I can make the time for just any JRPG though, and Persona games are always an experience and a half.

What do you need to know about Tokyo RPG Factory

There are certain smaller studios out there making Japanese games that are gradually growing in notoriety. One of them is Tokyo RPG Factory, a developer that most people probably know as the one that is owned by Square Enix. (Other acceptable answers include “the one that makes sad games” or “the one where all the games look a lot alike.” It’s been five years since its founding in 2014, and the company has kept on trucking. In fact, it has a new game coming out this year! Which means now is the perfect time to figure out more about it and why you may want to take an interest in the team’s games.
