Why the F..K are the characters look so ugly ?? Chris ? Leon ? what happened to you? ...ohh i get it they follow the the political correct/SJW agenda....after RE7 untalented people inside Capcom are hittng another bottom...oh man what happened to that company?

DragonDDark2645d ago

If you will just come to every RE article to hate, I suggest that you shut up. That's not healthy at all.

Flewid6382645d ago

What does you finding them ugly have to do with political correctness? LOL. WTF?

I kinda lost interest in resident evil after the 3rd. They started getting in to deep with a storyline that was just getting sillier and sillier.
Making weapons with viruses, turning a specific child into a ghost like weapon (a lot like f.e.a.r).

Re7 was a great game, but it felt like a small company made it then Crapcom decides "hey, we like this but let's make it a little more resident evil first."

It didn't remind me much of an re game, the large over the top bosses and Jack in a car reminded me of Crapcom for sure. Then the silly storyline towards the end was grade a crapcom.

U must not be a true RE fan then too know this is the true RE we all missed.

Kosic2644d ago

I don't have to be a true fan to have an opinion. But growing up with resident evil from day one for the psx/1, and not one of those who joined the series at re4 and then call themselves a "real fan"

Re7 is a great game, that seems to over stay it's short welcome. And has this need to go back to it's routes of being a mess again.

I loved the concept of the Bakers, Jack and Margarete(?) were interesting characters. The son was less interesting but still made a good creepy concept.

If this wasn't titled as a Re game, the craziness of this family would've had a pretty decent story. Could've been down to voodoo (look at the serum)...
But because it's tied to the RE world, they were like "hell, we'll just make it a weapon child and be done with it. "

It's due to that 95% of this game having nothing to do with RE, and it's that 5% they forced to have some relations to it that ruins the game for me.
Great puzzles from the re days, easy back tracking was welcome.

*Chris red field (why? Isn't needed)
*silly chemical warfare story (again wasn't needed)
*poor back story to Mia and eveline
*lack of story to Ethan
*barely a story for the main cast Jack Baker

It's just a decent horror game, slapped with fairly disappointing story.

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.

All those games had to release without bugs.

Comebacks shouldnt be a thing in videogames. Just saying.
