Getting the basic game mechanics working on the HoloLens was a seemingly simple matter of re-building the game inside the developer-friendly Unity engine. All we need now is for someone to tie the VR and AR versions together into one incredibly confusing shared reality.

Nah we don't need to include VR. That would just ruin the experience of playing the game using real environments.

But Portal would be cool in VR only setting as well. I like the AR one better.

Ports sounds a bit overkill. Im guessing you can create portals and toss virtual objects through them. Stepping, or even looking through a portal would be impossible to recreate
