HD8bit Matthew writes "It has been almost a month since the floor fell out at the Nintendo Switch conference which inspired me to write a somewhat scathing piece. My thoughts mimicked many other gamers, bloggers, and industry members who were also disappointed at seemingly every turn. Nintendo missed the boat on many things, so why should you pre-order or buy the console upon release? I asked myself the same question, and dug deep to find the answer."
"The Dundee-based (the UK) indie games publisher Little Nook and indie games developer Hyper Luminal Games, today announced with great happiness and thrill that their heart-tugging narrative-adventure “Pine Hearts“, is now available for PC (via Steam) and the Nintendo Switch (via the Nintendo Eshop)." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Crown Wars: The Black Prince has launched on console and PC, providing a deep XCOM style middle-ages strategy game.
GL: "Staff writer Shaz reflects on his small library of physical games he's kept throughout the decades, and how a recent move made him nostalgic."
I lost my drive for collecting physical games due to many discs lacking the whole complete game. Instead, of collecting games I started collected figurines.
My only gripe is that the pro controller should have been the default controller included with every system.
I loved it. I watched it live stream with the Nintendo store in NYC. So fans reactions were like mine. What they showed was 90% legit. Maybe 10% filler. It was over quickly but at least not boring. E3 will show more software and there should be more about the system itself in these last 3 weeks till launch.
Oh that'll show them
The reason why Nintendo never changes
Sucker. I guess you are buying the new Star Wars Battlefront too no matter how disappointing it is revealed or launched like.
The Nintendo video was horrible to watch. I'm shocked that they are a gaming company with what they showed and how they performed on stage. I couldn't watch much off it due to how silly it was.
The console is interesting. But it's not a day one purchase. It offers very little for early adopters, just like the Wii U, at least the 3ds gave out some free titles.
When the price drops to sub £200, I'll consider one.
