If you underestimate NiOh's challenges, it will eat you whole, munch you for a bit, and then spit you out, over and over. Yet, it's so worth it.
Team Ninja: "The Nioh franchise has sold over 6 million copies worldwide now!"
At 6 million NiOh is on the cusp of nearly outselling Ninja Gaiden’s 6.8 million with just only 2 titles under its belt
This could mean Team Ninja may see no reason to return to producing new NG games
they deserve this, Nioh is a amazing game. Hopefully they will expand and make a more ambitious game and have even more sales.
With PlayStation Now’s May lineup, you can try to survive unrelenting yokai in feudal Japan, rub shoulders with manga icons, and battle your way across an entire city. Starting tomorrow, May 4, Nioh, Jump Force and Streets of Rage 4 will be available to play on your PS5 or PS4 console.
Ohh I always wanted to try Jump Force. Can get back on my fantasy of being Goku :)
Nioh was given out on PS Plus around a year ago (most people who have PS Now also have PS Plus) and Jump Force is not particularly good. There's a big gap in quality between PS Plus and PS Now.
Total worldwide shipments and digital sales for Nioh 2 have surpassed two million units, and total shipments for the Nioh series have surpassed five million units, publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team Ninja announced.
I'm so happy to hear that because that means they will continue developing amazing games like that.
Nioh is such a great game. I love the series.
Good stuff. So many games, so little time.
I will pick this up once I'm done with Gravity Rush 2 and Resident Evil 7.
Every games like Souls, each of them has their own identity despite the similarities. For Example, Lord of The Fallen which I enjoyed it. It surpassed the test to become its own thing rather than be Souls knock off in my opinion. BloodBorne did the same thing. So I'm glad Nioh surpassed the test. So I can't wait The Surge.
Damn we're getting GOTY worthy games already!
Preordered already, on another note if Bloodborne 2 ever gets announced, the hype would be unreal.
I have so many games...oh well...getting this Tuesday to add to the collection.
