Another good reason to play this in vr is so people can constantly sneak up and scare the crap out of you!

I thought it said somewhere there are various VR headset settings you can tweak to eliminate the fade out movements meant for those who get sick?

Correct - from what I've read, there are a ton of customization options for how you move. Not sure why the guy didn't mention that in this article... cannot wait!!

Yeah, there are heaps. Even people that usually get sick in VR, can find a setting to help them.

yep, there are turning settings to help combat motion sickness. Can tune them to whether or not you get sick with that sort of stuff.

I managed to play the demo without any real sickness but the full game is making me sick as a dog. It feels like the turning is different it's hurting my eyes. I have it on smooth 2 which is the same I used in the demo.

Currently curled up on the couch waiting for it to pass 😕

Dude get some ginger into you, that's what i use in long sessions of VR. Ginger ale or ginger beer (non alcoholic of course) will set you right, also a fan and don't play on an empty stomach.

It appears you went out and got the game. I've also got a bit of a headache after spending about 90 minutes with it. That is by far the longest gaming session i've had in VR. none of the movement has made me "sick' but i definitely felt like I needed a break after getting through a "garage" scene.

Man, this game is absolutely stunning in VR. I've lol'd more than a few times at the craziness and i've jumped more than a few times also (i'm not that far into it).

Just played for 90mins in VR. although its really immersive, it made me want to throw up. I had the settings on "Smooth" which makes turning with the right thumbtack more realistic. Maybe i need to turn it back to default, which snaps the camera through 45 degree segments when turning. unfortunately, this breaks you out from the immersion. I suppose its a trade off between true immersion with sickness or a less realistic experience with no nausea.

Put it on the default for now. It's great that they have the option for smooth but it made me feel sick too

Based on what is being said about the locomotion system, I would say it depends on how well you do with motion sickness.

Play it in VR. The game is miles better that way. This game is made for VR.

Too bad PSVR is sold out everywhere except on Ebay where the scalpers live. Me and a friend of mine can't find any.
