Sony Changes PS4 Trailer from "Exclusives Coming in 2017" to "2017 and Beyond;" Removes Labels

A recent PS4 trailer released by Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe on January 1st caused a few misunderstanding , as it mentioned that the games included would come in 2017, but it also included Quantic Dream's Detroit: Become Human and Media Molecule's Dreams, which aren't confirmed for a 2017 release.

This caused SIE Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida to take to Twitter and clarify that it was a mistake. Today Sony posted a corrected version, with the splash screen at the beginning changed from "Unmissable PS4 Console Exclusives Coming in 2017" to "Unmissable PS4 Console Exclusives Coming in 2017 and beyond," and that's not all.

Any game can be delayed. We've seen it happen over and over again. Sony is just being cautious and more precise in their language.

Could be more then 2-3 games. Sony is good at showing lots of games and then having 1/5 of them get delayed. I'm sure they made this change to cover their backs.

It's either Detroit, Matterfall or Dreams. Could be all 3, could be one of them for 2018.

Dreams and Detroit were mistakenly confirmed for 2017 in the original trailer. Sony probably amended the trailer to make those two official at a later date, E3 is my guess.

The rest are set for 2017. Quote me on it.

Project Cars is good when it works properly but it's riddled with bugs and glitches that the devs don't know how to fix and it has several other notable issues. The admitted to not doing any QA on the console versions so get it on PC if you can.

See the problem that no one will call Sony out on is that if they spoke only about the games coming out in 2017 then their list wouldn't be satisfactory. Another problem is Sony's habit of hyping up games that are nowhere near coming out. I'll get bombed with disagrees and apologetics, but Sony is the worst for this and it is very annoying. Talk about what is coming out at least this year, leave games that aren't until the year they are coming out. It isn't a difficult concept.

But of course, since no one calls Sony out on anything, this "isn't a problem."
