The Grasshopper Manufacture developed free to play game Let It Die on the Playstation 4 certainly came as a surprise when downloaded and played for the first time just under a month ago. Now though having invested many hours into its dark and moody apocalyptic setting the conclusion here is this is a fun “must try” game regardless of a few niggling flaws.
First gameplay and lore details for this reality show-themed follow-up to 2016’s Let It Die.
Publisher GungHo Online Entertainment announced that LET IT DIE has surpassed seven million downloads—just in time for the fifth anniversary in December!
GameCrate: "Horror encompasses a wide spectrum of game types. From the deranged, psychological Outlast to the more action-focused Resident Evil 3 Remake. But there are also plenty of great games out there for folks who like the spirit of Halloween but would rather avoid traumatic offerings like Amnesia and Soma. Here are 10 spooky-not-scary games to play this Halloween season."
It's really not that fun though. The setting and general style of the game is really quirky and interesting, but the core gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. A poor man's dark souls.
I can see why its free.
I played it for a couple of Hours, enjoyed it a bit. Haven't played it since the day it came out. I actually forgot it exists.
OK game for free, but I wouldn't say it's the most fun.
It's ok until your reach around floor 10. Then it gets tedious, Haters can kill you easily, since 85% wear machetes, coin costs go up a lot. You need coins to travel with elevator, by train, to buy weapons and armour (expensive) which quickly lose durability, revive your characters and what's not. The only way to get coins is to farm them up and bring them back down, alive. Again, if you survive, minus the costs of elevator and equipment. And here comes the pain, the "express pass" allows you to travel for free, which allows you to continue much faster and easier without spending hours just farming for money. This game is a chore if you don't pay real money.
