In unsurprising news, Dead Rising 4 has outsold The Last Guardian…at least in the UK. There’s slight confusion why people are shocked by this. In all honesty, the news is perfect fuel the continuing console wars, but let's not overlook some history here...
GB: "With this feature, we run down 15 of the most underrated games on the PS4 that never received the love and appreciation they truly deserve."
I've played 15, and I wouldn't consider any of those underrated TBH. Some of them are pretty high rated.
I. Not seeing anything on that list underrated. I never played concrete genie, the ASTRO vr,and one other but I forgot the name already. Nothing on there was underrated at all imo.
There’s only 4 of those games I never played, and no most of those aren’t underrated.
Daily Video Game writes: "Today, Xbox Store has just kicked off three new digital game sales for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One gamers that offer steep discounts on Achievement Hunter and action RPG games, as well as games for those with a $20 budget."
Friendship is hard to depict accurately, but The Last Guardian does a good job of showing all its ups and downs through Trico and the boy.
I enjoyed the game but it started out too simple and easy. If the entire game was as intense and challenging as the last 20% it would have been a 10/10 experience.
I managed to grab the collectors edition for £40 about a year after it released. Was an enjoyable game, but I had just finished Shadow of the colossus, and whilst I enjoyed it, it was not as good when compared.
Seems to be the way with these sorts of games. Do well critically, but have sluggish sales. I'm sure it'll pick up with time though. Dead Rising 4 is a lot of fun though, good holiday window for both systems
Exactly. It like people are scared to play a game if there is no assault rifles.
The Last Guardian is an art that not everyone can appreciate.
Because CoD sells more than Battlefield usually due to the strategic nature of BF, and so on. The majority of gamers prefer mindless action games that make them feel like a badass. They prefer western rpgs to jrpgs because they want their combat to be quick, not a slog of thinking before every action.
Would you rather run around and slay zombies in cool and odd and sadistic ways while donning insane outfits, or develop an emotional almost non-spoken attachment to a bird/dog? Most would say the former. I prefer the latter. To each their own.
