Though the PS4 Pro doesn't have any exclusives (yet), it's a given that optimizing one's games for the PS4 while also keeping the PS4 Pro in mind can be a task. How difficult is it actually though, especially with lead engineer Mark Cerny saying it takes only a bit of effort?

"I’m not sure if it’s good move, but an upgraded option for ‘enthusiasts’ makes sense to me. As I mentioned, I think it’s a pretty conservative move.”
yes it is conservative, even more so by the fact sony throttles the cpu to make sure games play exactly as they would on the regular ps4. that's over 1,200 games ps4 pro owners don't get any advantage on.
on top of that sony mandates all games that have an online play component cannot be 60fps unless the game already is (such as Battlefield 1). so don't ever expect bloodborne to be patched with 60fps and perhaps no pro patch ever. sony thinks this creates an imbalance in multiplayer. so again pro owners are being held back.
don't even get me started on psvr which could really benefit from the ps4 pro but because sony forces developers to support both we will continue to see psvr support with concessions. driveclub is just one example.
however when developers do use the pro it can look beautiful and i imagine sony's 1st party games like horizon will look gorgeous but will the game be smooth for regular ps4 owners?
Oh gamingbolt jesus
Sorry gamingbolt but is this ana article? Jesus...
AMD moved chip production over to newer chips, forcing Sony & MS to make remodels using the newer chips to reduce costs, why are devs even acting as if it was all MS & Sony's decision?
