In this type of games, a solid base of players during the first few weeks of release are enough to attract many players. But Sombrero is a desert.
Just recently I (Robin Ek, TGG) got a chance to sit down with PixelMetal. So we talked about everything from "Sombrero", censorship in games, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" to JonTron and Pewdiepie.
HPP: There’s a common discussion in modern video games revolving around the importance of couch co-op. The advent of online multiplayer on consoles made the demand less and less. At this point Couch co-op and party games are a genre unto themselves. Sombrero: Spaghetti Western Mayhem requires multiple players and hearkens the glory days by requiring real friends. The sentiment is nice, but despite being a fun game it’s hard to recommend with limited accessibility.
Multiplayer party game Sombrero is now available on Steam, for the limited time launch price of $9.99.
