Darksiders: Warmastered Edition Free for Previous Owners on PC

A THQ Nordic representative confirmed today that previous owners of Darksiders on Steam will be upgraded to the upcoming Warmastered Edition for free.

Yup, THQ Nordic is doing a great job with these remasters, and the fact that they chose to reward previous customers is really laudable.

And the cool thing this happened to me three times already this year with Titan Quest Anniversary, the two Bioshock Remasters and now Darksiders.

Woohoo! Hopefully this version has proper PC functionality too. The original port was bare minimum lazy and required mods just to look even half decent and give graphics options. All I'm asking is for PC options that reflect the game was put on a PC to begin with, and I'll be happy. That and the free upgrade is still pretty sweet.

Strange. It says the Deathinitive edition of DS2 was a free upgrade. I never got it.

It was a free upgrade if you owned all the DLC (they had a slight issue with some of the store subs, so people who bought the game on specific regions didn't get it on time, but I believe they ended up fixing it)
