Wow that's really good news. I absolutely loved this game on the Wii U. Now more people will be able to enjoy it.

bouzebbal2735d ago (Edited 2735d ago )

Was indeed a great game, but that's due to gamepad gamelay for the most part. It's the game that uses gamepad the best. no idea howthe gameplay will feel without gamepad.

LOL_WUT2735d ago

I found it to be rather boring imo. ;)

Neonridr2735d ago

fair enough, not for everyone I guess.

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory2736d ago

Of course the Nintendo Easter Eggs will be exclusive.
But why would PS4 and Xbox One owners care when they didn't when it was on Wii U 3 years ago.

shinoff21832736d ago

I own a wii u but its probably because it was on the wii u. I am going to buy this for ps4, but also getting my son the wii u version for christmas.

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory2736d ago

No I meant those who only owns a PS4 or Xbox One not PS4 with a Wii U or Xbox One with a Wii U/

badz1492735d ago

I love LEGO game to death but I still wouldn't go as far as buying the U for this.

Maybe because its a good game but most won't buy a system just to get a LEGO game. Its probably one of the best LEGO games ever made. My family loves it.

Neonridr2735d ago

why shouldn't they care? If they are fans of any of the Lego games, then why wouldn't they play this one? That's like saying that PS4 owners wouldn't play ROTR because it was a year old game by the time it came out on their console. It's still a NEW game to them. Plus Lego City is a really GOOD Lego game, so it sort of has that going for it.

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory2735d ago

If they cared they would had got a Wii U to play it or played when it was already out 3 years ago.

ROTR was already coming to PS4 not the same situation.

Neonridr2735d ago

@Otaku - not everyone purchases a console for one game. Maybe they only had a PS4 or an Xbox One.

How old the game is doesn't change the quality it brings to the table.

I love how you try to justify saying having more games available for PS4/XB1 owners is a bad thing.

so your saying that if someone wasnt interested in paying $350 for another console just to play a Lego game, why would they be interested in playing it now in the console that they do own?.... o.O?

iplay1up22735d ago (Edited 2735d ago )

There were a lot of people upset a about it being exclusive. It is a great game! Hopefully it will 60fps! Even though I won't play it again they should really use the power of current gen to make this awesome game shine!!

Oh yeah faster load screens!!!!

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory2734d ago

There wasn't a lot people upset about it at all. Go back to 2012-2013.

People were upset about Bayonetta 2 being full exclusive.

I'm glad to hear this game is getting a port. It's a very enjoyable game that's full of funny jokes and Easter eggs. It suffered long loading screens on Wii U and hopefully that'll be fixed in these ports

wonderfulmonkeyman2735d ago

I'll wait to see if they add anything new to it before I buy, since I owned and completed it on Wii U already...

EddieNX 2735d ago

I also own it on Wiiu. It's a great game!!!! The last boss is absolutely epic, by far the best Lego game crammed full of references and Easter eggs. I'll buy the switch version if they add enough.

blawren42735d ago

This was the first game in years that I wanted to 100%. If anyone likes lego games and/or open world games, this is a great choice.

badz1492735d ago

OMG!! Megaton for me! I've always wanted to play this but I didn't want to get the U. Awesome news!

Take-Two Mandate on Microtransactions: Over-Deliver on Content and the Monetization Will Follow

Take-Two Interactive states their edict on microtransactions has been to over-deliver on content, and the monetization will follow.

lucasnooker1h ago

Warning. Boatloads of micro transactions coming for GTA VI

porkChop39m ago

To be fair, while GTA Online is monetized heavily both GTA Online and GTA V offer a massive amount of content without paying anything extra. Though I do think GTA Online's optional subscription is bullshit.

neutralgamer199211m ago

Can you please focus on delivering enough quality content to justify the $70 asking price? While I appreciate the idea of over-delivering, it's essential to ensure that the base content itself is worth it. I have concerns that GTA6 might have less single-player content because most of the focus seems to be shifting towards online play and microtransactions.

It's understandable why publishers are capitalizing on microtransactions when they generate billions with relatively little effort compared to traditional content creation. We, as consumers, are partly responsible for this trend. I've seen people spend on FIFA cards as if it's a normal part of the game. Previously, features like player cards and big head mode were earned through gameplay or cheat codes, but now gamers are willing to pay for them, so publishers have no reason not to monetize these features.

It's astonishing that the gaming industry is now more profitable than any other entertainment sector. Yet, despite record-high profits, the industry continues to see increasing levels of greed. It's baffling to hear about record profits followed by significant layoffs of developers. This disconnect makes no sense.

I know it’s unlikely given the size of the industry, but it might take a significant downturn for things to reset. Currently, there are too many decision-makers who lack a genuine understanding of gaming, focusing only on financial spreadsheets. A prime example is Andrew Wilson, the CEO of EA.

It must be a nightmare working at Rockstar in a Production role...dealing with the team egos and those of the V suite. #soulcrush
