Welp... That's good news for the Switch I guess.

Imp0ssibl32725d ago

They did say something about porting at least a major game there.

Neonridr2724d ago

yep, if the Switch can handle Unreal 4, then no reason why it shouldn't be able to handle Frostbite 3 (or whatever version they are up to now).

Alexious2724d ago

It can surely handle it. In the interview, he says Frostbite now can support even mobile games...

zb1ftw7772724d ago

Game Engine is not the issue.

It's how many processes and polygons they try to push with it.

The Switch won't be able to keep up, so don't get your hopes up.

zivtheawesome2724d ago

@zb1ftw777
only that the switch is rumored to be more powerful than the XO.

ccgr2725d ago

Hopefully able to play together cross platform too

bleedsoe9mm2724d ago

play anywhere is a must as well , once you pay for it once you shouldn't have to buy it again on different devices especially if its easy for devs to do different platforms

StockpileTom2724d ago

I'll believe their BS when Madden returns to PC.

Todd Howard Has No Plans to Retire, Open to Other Studios Making Fallout Games

In a recent interview, Todd Howard revealed that he has no plans to retire and reiterated Bethesda's openness to help from other studios.

DOMination-2d ago

Oh great, now we have to deal with Anasts Bethesda fetish indefinitely.

Thanks a lot, Todd

anast2d ago

You're welcome for the free entertainment. Usually, it comes at a cost of $70 because of inflation.

Crows902d ago

That's an inflated price...

anast2d ago (Edited 2d ago )

@Crows

It would be if it weren't a valuable resource.

mastershredder2d ago

"with no plans to retire anytime soon" I mean this is like a common news topic involving his name. Knock it off and do some actual newsing. This is like the biggest "No Duh" article of the day, and several sites had to regurgitate it. Geez. So lame.

This is when he'll retire.

nmbr1esq2d ago

He doesn't have to retire, just the stupid outdated garbage creation engine.

Netimmerse 4.0, presumably 5.0 for TES6. They should give the Fallout IP to Obsidian, and have it made in UE5.
