I have a Pro and would love to see improvements in multiplayer. But I also understand why this could cause a backlash from OG PS4 owners.

those are two different platforms. PS4, and PS4 Pro are both the same platform.

edit: personally, though, I don't see why Pro owners shouldn't be able to have a frame rate advantage over the vanilla version if the console will allow for a higher frame rate.

it's a racing game and it's not even a fast paced one... The quicker more action packed the game the more frame rate impacts on it, BF1 as a shooter is always better with a better frame rate and that is what the pro was providing and ultimately that causes an advantage even if it is only more fps it's still more which as we know is better especially in shooters. Sony said that wouldn't happen.

It's a racing game. I don't think there is a lot of advantage to be had if a PC player is running at 60 and xbox at 30. But they don't allow it for Gears of war 4. Horde mode co-op is allowed but online MP PVP is not allowed.

PS4 Pro should have an advantage. No point in giving the devs the extra power if you won't let them use it. There aren't any issues on PC where there are tons of different builds offering varying resolutions and frame rates.

Your right, so dice should downgrade the original ps4 bf1 to achieve 60fps. They should not however throttle the ps4 pros performance that would be plain stupid in my opinion.

But going from 45 to 60 fps isn't that big of advantage. Generally its people that are not very good at the game that would cry over that. Ill play with locked 30 and still would own Pro owners locked at 60. If you're good your good, framerate doesn't matter.

as seen from DF 1.04 MP gameplay,.. I doubt preformance was downgraded,.. PS Pro still seams almost locked 60 and when it drops to 46+,.. original ps4 is in 30s.So,... I really don't know since I just got the PS4pro today,.. but BF1 plays and looks phenomenal. Feels much more stable also.

I've been playing Battlefield 1 on PS4 Pro everyday since the Pro released last week on 11/10.

I played all night last night on the new patch and literally just turned the game off less than 45 minutes ago..

I don't know if the majority of you are just hating, don't actually have a PS4 Pro, or are just talking out of your asses because the game runs smooth and flawless. Top Notch... just like it did before the patch came out.

Hardcore Conquest, Regular Conquest, Fog of War TDM, Operations... These were the matches I played today everything was fine and dandy like normal.

Agreed, I got to around level 40 on standard PS4 so know exactly how that game looked and felt. I have since got to level 55 on the Pro both before and after the patch and it runs better than the base PS4 and I have not noticed any downgrade of any kind since installing the last patch, the game is fantastic and runs like butter.

This is the main reason I've held off on getting a Pro. When Sony started talking about keeping parity with PS4 that's basically their way of saying the original PS4 is gonna always limit PS4 Pro performance. All it takes is for something like this, where PS4 players start complaining about Pro players having an unfair advantage. I love my PS4 and I'm gonna hang on to it because the games still are pretty awesome, but I've decided to wait it out and see how the Switch and Scorpio shape up.

The only problem here is Dice's lack of optimization, nothing else. If you're doing a 60fps game, you make it run at 60fps. The MP is a technical mess and it must be fixed asap

are people really crying about 60fps going against 30fps in multiplayer? 60FPS will obviously play smoother and look better just from being more fluid, but to say it offers gameplay advantanges, well that difference is so negligible. Laggers will still lag and that is the biggest killer in MP and laggers have even more of advantage in P2P games like CoD and Destiny.

What if i use my original PS4 and hook up to a standard definition tv and play against someone using a PS4 Pro on hi definition tv , will i have a advantage ?

Also , i heard it is harder to beat PUNCH OUT using NES mini on Hi Definition TV due to lag . Is this true ?

I played BF1 for around 6 hours yesterday (after the patch). Only played conquest and I didn't notice any performance issues since the last patch.

People who have the Pro version seem to be getting an advantage in multiplayer and that's not good. One of the biggest things I've always liked about consoles was the fact that majority start from the same line.

This is splitting the fanbase and I guarantee that we're starting to have fanboy wars WITHIN the Playstation community, how annoying is that!
