What I want to know (and I'll most likely find out Friday since nobody is or can elaborate right now) the Rent-a-Mon or whatever it's called can I put whatever Pokemon I want in there or am I forced to ONLY surf with Sharpedo or ONLY fly with Charizard like in the trailers? I'd love if I could put a Noivern in for the FLY (hopefully soar comes back, if not they are complete morons for ditching the best "fly" mechanic from ORAS). Any early players know anything without spoiling much else?

from what i understand it seems that the Rent-a-Mon is a private or goverment company that rents you certain pokemon so you can travel to locations that would be impossible to reach on foot. So i think that it wont allow you to choose pokemons from your team or PC.

why do other games pull off 3D monster collecting JRPG games just fine? Look at Jade Cocoon and Shin Megami Tensei for examples.
