Entropay no longer an option on PSN

Those of you hoping to grab yourself a copy of Qore, or purchase anything else on the US PSN whilst not actually having a US credit card, can colour yourselves disappointed. Apparently, the virtual Visa Card issuer Entropay no longer works in Sony's online shop

EDIT though if you've linked your Entropay card to your PSN card before now (let's say beginning of September for argument's sake), it still works, you can still load money onto your PSN wallet

That so true i don't understand how hard it is to bring out prepaid cards in other countrys.

I have a credit card, but it doesn't work on PSN... I use Entropay and it works like a charm.

I don't know what's going to happen now, because I've used it a few times already. I bought some Qore episodes 2 days ago with it.

Let's wait and see.

It works if you've already registered your Entropay card. If you try to register a new card now, it'll probably not work.

I do not know what is the problem in allowing any one with whatever international credit card to buy games from any PSN.

Here is my case,I live in Brazil and my GOLD international Visa card does not work on the PSN and so I can't spend around $50 a month on it.
What the funny thing is that spent more then $300 buying Virtual Console's games because Nintendo US allow any int credit card to be acceptable on their store.
You know that 90% of all the PS3 being used in South America came from a store in USA.
It is hard to track how many machines were sent to S.America countries but lets risk to say around 500,000.Imagine now if all these thousand ppl were able to buy from US PSN.

For this I regret buying a PS3 since I can't use all its power and I should have bought an xbox360 since Live works marvelous in my country.
A price drop inc to this vg and also allowing any card to but stuff I belive M$ can win the console war since it will be selling 10 to 1 xbox360 against Sony Ps3 in South America.

Again I repeat ,when Nintendo and Microsoft are making rivers of cash by selling from their online stores to not less special costumers, in the rest of America continent ,PS3 is knockout for almost 3 years now without selling a single game online(unless if using the virtual credit card).

Another problem I see is that ppl will be carefull on what US Ps3 games they buy because depending the game will not be worth since all the DL content will not be possible to be bought.
Really,I myself try to keep away or buy in a different plataform games that I know that will have in the near future many dowload content.
That is why I never bought the so called great game Warhawk.
If I knew this was gonna happen I would have bought an Xbox360 even knowing abou the RRoD problems.Live works in almost every country in the America Continent.

Hey Sony,do yourself a favor and be Smart asap by starting to sell " virtual PSNcards" in the internet so this way you will sell so much more games and make ppl so happy. That it will boost your salles on every month as if new MGS4 games kept being released monthly.

Most people that use these are doing so because they ruined their credit so they have no real credit cards. Too bad, next time think twice about buying something and not paying for it and you will have a real credit card anyway
