Ni No Kuni II Might Let You Create A Kingdom

Level-5 revealed that Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will have a sort of kingdom creation system.

Dark Cloud 1 and 2 was about creating towns and restoring the world. White Knight Chronicles added it into the sadly gone online mode. I'll gladly welcome it back Levels has the best creation system that doesn't take away from other aspects of the games released. Plus Dc2 my all time fav game :) looking forward to it

I'm probably just too old, but I actually found Ni No Kuni a bit difficult. I had trouble understanding the whole feeding & utilizing of my little monsters, and basically had to quit when I couldn't get past this one boss. I wished the game had some kind of "total idiot" mode, where you could just advance through the game at a nice peck, and just enjoy the visuals. Maybe your companions could take care of themselves, and do their own thing in battles. I thought that kind of mode would have been great for little kids, too - I thought it was a shame that little little kids probably wouldn't be able to enjoy the game because of the difficulty, when the visuals were basically a Miyazaki film that everyone should be able to enjoy.

Kids are a lot better at gaming than you're giving them credit for. I finished my first Pokemon game (Yellow) when I was 10 with very little guidance, and it definitely wasn't a walk in the park.
