When a comet crashes to the earth and lays waste to the streets of Mordheim a great darkness falls over the city. From this darkness springs a host of rival warbands, and creatures that come straight from your worst nightmares. It is into this chaos that you are thrown as you form your own warband in a hope to survive and prosper. This is the world of Mordheim: City of the Damned, a turn based strategy game that is as close to a RPG as you will come. The world that you are thrown into is dark and extremely dangerous, but littered with wealth in the form of Wyrdstone. These magical pieces of stone turn out to have powers that have real consequence in the world, such as turning any base metal into gold. Collecting Wyrdstone and handing it over to certain factions will boost your reputation with them, rewarding you with bonuses to help you on your way.
