Seems like a Spring 2018 title

-Foxtrot2754d ago

So another game announced far too early

Jeez man...developers have got to stop doing this.

Ashlen2754d ago (Edited 2754d ago )

Why does it even matter? It will be out when it's out at least people know what the studio is working on. At least it's not "David Cage is RUMORED to be working on a game." I'd rather know that have it be dumb rumors.

-Foxtrot2754d ago

I'd rather know what the studio is doing and THEN be completely surprised at an announcement that the game is coming out in like 2-3 months.

Ashlen2754d ago

Why? I was surprised when it was announced at E3. I'm not going to be any more or less surprised later.
I'd rather know, then be able follow the development process. Plus if a developer shows things earlier they can use feedback to improve the development process.

xMANB3ARP1G2754d ago (Edited 2753d ago )

Foxtrot how do you think you can have your cake and eat it to? You want to know what they are doing but still want to be completly surprised when it's announced that's impossible. The best handled release in years has to be fallout 4 only a few rumors then e3 announcement then out by the end of that year.
Oh look he disagrees with me.

S2Killinit2754d ago

I don't have a problem with knowing something is coming in advance. All I ask is that developer work on their project and deliver a compelling reason for me to want to spend money on it. That's all.

_-EDMIX-_2754d ago

@fox- oh so you would rather that companies spend Millions upon millions of dollars and development for years and years to release in three months only to be met with a lukewarm reception? Very interesting.

Do you ever really have any realistic expectations for anything? You never really look at perspective of these companies you simply look at what you want and proceed demanding it regardless of how unrealistic and improbable it actually is.

Keep in mind this is also a new intellectual property you're suggesting they do this with.

Who on Earth is risking the entire company and potentially hundreds of million dollars on such a stupid idea?

OHHHH so you don't have to wait? Poor you.....

The game has been show early doesn't mean it needs to be release in quick span of time.. The developers informed us that they are working on a title and now can take their time and deliver a game which isn't rushed... also gamers feedback is very important which a dev cannot change in a span of 2 to 3 months..

_-EDMIX-_2754d ago

No. You don't necessarily know how their financing Works they may want to see proof of concept, they may also want to see fans reactions to see if they should continue investing.

Trust me lots of companies do not want to spend a bunch of money on a title just to have a lukewarm release, they want to announce it early when it first starts to see how fans feel about such a thing.

I'm okay with games getting announced short-term in regards to 6 months before release, I'm okay with them getting announced years before release too.

All I care about is playing their games, I'm not going to criticize them because of their financial situation, not everybody has the luxury of making games in silence for millions of dollars for years...

It seems that only those who are young and naïve have this bizarre idea that all games are created equal in this regard.

TheEvilResident19972754d ago

Once again fox troll hating on yet another game or anything in general but anyways can't wait to play this game he has always created awesome games.

rainslacker2753d ago (Edited 2753d ago )

I guess if one thinks they're going to die soon early announcements could cause some sort of anguish as it reminds you of all the things you'll never get to experience.

In the mean time though, just play what's available.

Patience is a virtue, and while I understand the agony of waiting for something you really want, I find occupying your time with things you really enjoy makes it go by pretty quickly. That's why I always played my Vita while going out on dates so I could not notice the time to get to the good parts afterwards.

Obsessing over the things you can't have now means you miss out on what's right in front of you.
