This game looks really good.

I can't wait till Capcom stops trolling us and show us the real resident evil 7....I mean it cant be first person...

Personally I commend them for trying something 'new'. Admittedly I'm not the biggest RE player/fan so what do I know :)

Plus, they want that PT and VR money.

Well, that's ironic in itself... If Resident Evil 4 really DID try something new and revolutionalised the genre of survival horror and plain third-person shooters then RE7 is basically doing the same thing horror games have been doing since at least Amnesia:The Dark Descent. There is nothing "new", it's just making a numbered entry in a pioneer survival horror franchise look as trendy as humanly possible.
It does look good for what it's trying to be, but it's such a great shame that a series as grand as Resident Evil is taking ques from something as over-saturated as hundreds of those First-Person horror games we saw come out for at least 7 years in a row now.

to me this game speaks quality in many forms .. and this is very far from what i was expecting 1 year ago .
I'm surprised in a very good way

Sadly, it seems like it is... Looks like we'll just have to try and focus on other traditional gameplay elements that look distinctry Resident Evil and try as hard as we can to ignore the camera and controls being severely different... I know it's hard...

I am a little concerned that they said during the Ambassadors meeting that the game is 90% complete. With less than 3 months of development left, shouldn't they be polishing at this point?

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.

All those games had to release without bugs.

Comebacks shouldnt be a thing in videogames. Just saying.
