Neil writes "We're well used to seeing new content appear for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on Xbox One and it would have been a huge shock to see Halloween pass by without some kind of new content. We're just not sure we expected it to be priced so damn high."

How about team ninja focus more on the netcode rather then some skimpy outfits? Also, the graphics don't look that much better between the Xbox 360,PS3,ps4, and Xbox one versions.. This is why me and my friends prefer Virtua Fighters over this.. They have customizations, more in depth fighting mechanics, and smooth online..

I agree, nowadays it is very difficult to find a fighting game that is more shallow and badly optimized than DOA and this coming from a fan of the franchise that goes with it since the days of the Dreamcast...

I am still playing Tekken TT2 on a regular base, its amazing how many players that one still has...but I can't wait for T7 already which has a bigger focus on short combos and less juggling it seems

Because Team Ninja hasn't given a crap about releasing great games since Itagaki left the company, and it's all about that DLC-milking these last few years. That's the only reason why they're still around. People are willing to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their DLC-outfits.

DOA is just an animated girl fap simulator at this point and has been for quite a while ...

The 10 Most Expensive Microtransactions And DLC In Games, Ever

From Xfire: "Remember when you'd buy a game and... that was it? You got the full experience by purchasing the full product one time. "

potedude1148d ago

Damn, Train Simulator is costing the big bucks. That game is kinda fun but not if you purchase all the DLC.

Relientk771148d ago

I will never understand why people pay for this crap.

"All the DLC - Train Simulator 2020, $10,145"

No wonder we're witnessing an increasing number of ports from PC to consoles, you can't nickel and dime PC owners with all their mods over there, lol

"Legatus Pack - Star Citizen $27,000"

Ouch!

Planet Calypso - Entropia Universe, $6,000,000

WTF...?!

Marie Rose: The making of Dead or Alive's doll-faced superstar

An in-depth interview feature with the developers at Koei Tecmo on the making of, and superstar rise of Marie Rose. From the feature: "For a series infamous for its big-breasted women and pin-up tone to then provide players with an option that so completely embraced cuteness was surely a creative risk. This is particularly true of markets outside of Japan, where people are as a rule far less comfortable with “cute” and “sexy” being in the same proverbial ballpark."
