A writer for MONG talks about the FRESH new viral videos released by Capcom to Resident Evil Ambassador Program members.
Who says a dud game can't have a video game comeback?
Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.
Got that retro survival horror bug? Here's Chit Hot's picks for the seven best survival horror games from yesteryear.
Eternal Darkness was way ahead of its time especially for a Nintendo exclusive.
I would love to see a remake or sequel (multiplatform)
4 people love Eternal Darkness.
Quick! Jump on that remake, whoever holds the rights these days.
GameFlavor's Resident Evil First Aid Drink is making a comeback, offering high quality Resident Evil merch.
I am very happy to see the old save rooms and focus on inventory management ! :)
BUT
The game must give me more then just some constantly ressurecting hillbilly to make me actually afraid of him... I mean, seriously, his dialogue is hilariously wakky (which is good in the old-school Resident Evil sense, but not for ENEMIES to be doing, it's mainly the heroes who talk in the wakky and endearing Barry Burton kind of way to enhance the atmosphere of surrealistic situation. When enemies do it it makes me just wanna chuckle, and that is sure isn't something that can enhance the tension) and he is just a simple hillbilly with a over-sized utensil as a weapon in terms of design... Am I supposed to be afraid of him ? After regenerators in 4, Nemesis in 3, Birkin in 2 and Yawn in 1 ?
I REALLY hope that the Baker family mutates more and more you kill them or at least during the duration of the game, because this is just endearingly hilarious...
Wanna make constantly ressurecting enemies scary and surreal ? Take a lesson from Forbidden Siren games and it's Shibito - https://www.youtube.com/wat...
When I first played the demo, it was cool and all, but was not RE to me. Now having watched these little clips I'm getting more and more exited about the game. Through these clips I am now seeing how the game is supposed to go back to it roots. The demo sure didn't convey this.
Really looking forward to it on PSVR.
Off topic: who approved this with all those tags?
The demo called kitchen was really cool can't wait for this game.
Jesus stop showing stuff, why do companies think it's a good tactic to show you every nook and cranny before releasing it? nothing feels fresh at that point. Nothing more, release trailer the week before release and go, the name Resident Evil is enough to pull people.
