Today Capcom released two new videos of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, showcasing briefly a couple of features of the game.
Who says a dud game can't have a video game comeback?
Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.
There are some great VR games but when it comes to iconic series, we think Resident Evil is VR's most powerful IP.
The greatest Resident Evil games (and Resistance) have joined the GeForce NOW library as part of this week's GFN Thursday.
So basically what we could do in RE4. Save points (Typewritters) with no limits on saves and breaking boxes open with a knife. This is without a doubt 100% proof, by these two 30 second videos, that it's totally gone back to it's horror roots, no question about it alright...
Pretty hopeful for RE7. Love the way they played with the "eVIL" part to depict roman numerals. pretty neat.
