Ride 2 Is The Gran Turismo Of The Two-Wheeled World | Power Up Gaming

Adam Lloyd writes: "At this year’s Play Expo in Manchester, Power Up Gaming managed to sneak in a couple of ride-alongs with two different motorbike racers that will be going head-to-head this year. One was the arcade-inspired Moto Racer 4, while the other was more of a Gran-Turismo-on-two-wheels sort of affair. That game is Ride 2, a racing simulation that offers a wealth of content for bike tinkerers and serious motorheads alike."

Ouch, being compared to GT isn't a good sign. It probably means there's a better motorbike game out there

You must be pretty salty that GT is still considered the best racing simulator on consoles, oh well you'll get over it.

KiwiViper852780d ago

GT6's 81 on metacritic suggests otherwise... that's only 2 points higher than the stripped out launch game that is Forza 5. Let alone Forza 6's 87

Forza has the crown, only a fool would think otherwise.

But I guess we'll see if that changes when GT Sport Prologue releases. Can't wait

The amount of real life professional drivers who use and praise GT and the amount of people who play it say otherwise.

Technically.... wouldn't Tourist Trophy be considered the GT of the motorbike world? After all it too was made by PD. It just didn't proceed up the ranks like GT did and that is a shame. PD could have been releasing Tourist Trophy sequels in between the GT releases.

Geez...talk about salt. This is a really good game that has only been talked about in good light from what I searched up. Don't see how you see it as bad.

Leave it to a fanboy to start stuff on a game they have no intention of playing.

nowitzki20042780d ago

No it actually means there is nothing else better out there.

KiwiViper852780d ago

Check over my facts above if you'd like...

You can thank GT for simulation racing getting to where it is today lol. Forza has been playing catch up.

KiwiViper852779d ago

No doubt, GT used to be the king of simulation racing, credit where its due, 1-4 were AMAZING.

But now it's GT's turn to play catch up.
