The new box-art hasn’t been shown on the Amazon listing yet, but the new boxart was revealed by an update to the PlayStation Store this morning. For some of you that attended PAX West 2016, you may recognize this new look which can be seen on the PlayStation Store.

Sony has confirmed that there is something happening later this month and it involves SIE which is the division that operates PlayStation.
My guess, is they were waiting for the new CEO position to be finalized before their next showcase and now that's out of the way.

as a long time ps fans I hope they still put great single player games front and center, make your live service games if you have to but don’t force your 1st party studios to make something they don’t want to.. redfall is an unfortunate example of a good studio forced to basically destroy themselves.
With Arkane Austin no more and Lyon living for who knows how long, the superb Dishonored is in serious danger; Microsoft cannot be trusted.
I love the Dishonored series so much and really want Dishonored 3. Microsoft better not screw this up.
I mean, I think the fans will probably kill Arkane Lyon by cooking up reasons to hate whatever they do next without playing it. I've never seen a game so artificially disliked as Deathloop.

Just merge them all into a single studio, have it churn out a single Call of Duty every year and call it a day, lol.
I think it's becoming clear based on matt bootys comments there's no future for any IP that can't sell above 10 million within the launch window. But is also a small game that gives them prestige

Kinda like the old one better, but the new one is also pretty good and simplistic (which I find pleasant). Though, if the actual game has little to no connection to the spooky demo house, I can see why they changed it.
Thankfully its not your generic soldier grunt posing away with a gun.
