Trying not to watch these until I get my hands on the thing myself. Only 10 days to go.
No thanks. I've seen all I need to the see with the Rift. VR needs at least two upgrade iterations before I can be remotely interested.
1. They need to fix the eye strain problem. I don't care how great the headset is and how engaging the games are. If my eyes feels like they're on fire after two hours of gaming, I don't want it.
2. Cables suck. If cables suck when it's attached to my head while I'm at sitting 2 feet away from the PC. They will suck even more when they stretch out 7-10 feet across my living room.
3. Being blind and deaf while you're gaming. For immersion I need to wear a good headset while I'm in VR, this makes me totally blind and deaf all at once. So if you have a spouse or kids, forget about VR.
