Trying not to watch these until I get my hands on the thing myself. Only 10 days to go.

Im holding out till im sure it has no faults. It looks clean as hell. Better than all the other vr headsets imo

Its a great headset. It will have a lot of support, and its the most comfortable of the bunch, its lighter and doesnt heat up. Im personally sold, but i understand if you want to wait. I really want one before the holidays though.

Yeah, my only worry is by the time x mas rolls around, stock will be low and ill have to wait longer.

Maxor2796d ago

No thanks. I've seen all I need to the see with the Rift. VR needs at least two upgrade iterations before I can be remotely interested.

1. They need to fix the eye strain problem. I don't care how great the headset is and how engaging the games are. If my eyes feels like they're on fire after two hours of gaming, I don't want it.
2. Cables suck. If cables suck when it's attached to my head while I'm at sitting 2 feet away from the PC. They will suck even more when they stretch out 7-10 feet across my living room.
3. Being blind and deaf while you're gaming. For immersion I need to wear a good headset while I'm in VR, this makes me totally blind and deaf all at once. So if you have a spouse or kids, forget about VR.

I can finally watch pron, I mean watch pronouns be pronounced in PC VR games that were previously not available on Playstation.

crazyCoconuts69d ago

be careful not to sprain your... tongue pronouncing those pronouns

Profchaos69d ago

I'm excited for that to plus I can try fallout 4 VR always wanted to play that

crazyCoconuts69d ago

I was lucky and held off on 4 until I played it in VR. It really is pretty awesome - you'll love it.

The icing on the cake would be if Sony / Valve allow for a Steam Link app much like it is for the Quest 3. Likely wishful thinking, though.
