September 9, 2008 - Earlier this year, the announcement of the Ion Drum Kit excited Rock Band 2 players eager to drum into the night without bothering their loved ones or their neighbors. Constructed of sturdier materials, equipped with cymbals and the ability to purchase a separate processor to turn it into a real drum kit of its own, the Ion is an impressive peripheral. However, it's been hard to pin down where you could actually purchase the machine until now. At the 2008 GameStop eXpo, GameStop executives confirmed that the peripheral will indeed be sold at some of their stores.
