Air Traffic Chaos Hits DS

GiN Reports: "Majesco Entertainment Company, an innovative provider of video games for the mass market, has shipped Air Traffic Chaos for Nintendo DS.

Developed by Sonic Powered Company, Air Traffic Chaos is a management simulation that puts players in control of a legion of takeoffs and landings at a bustling airport.

Being an air traffic controller takes nerves of steel, a sharp memory, and a smooth sense of control. In Air Traffic Chaos, players can test their abilities to join the elite ranks of the ATC professionals as they point planes in the right direction or face a high-flying mess. Using the Touch Screen players must direct incoming and outgoing airport traffic by coordinating takeoffs, landings, and gate assignments efficiently and safely for seven different types of airplanes and 14 separate airlines."

N-Philes Review: Air Traffic Chaos

N-Philes writes: "Let me begin by telling you that I'm not like most people. I have a strange obsession with airports and subways or any form of transportation that carries a large mass of people. I'm sure there are a few people out there that feel the same way; whether they enjoy seeing how people from different locations interact or the excitement of taking off in an airplane for the first time. Air Traffic Chaos does not capture many of these emotions for people like myself, nor does it try to. It does prove to be a realistic air traffic control simulation as viewed from a larger standpoint."

AATG: Air Traffic Chaos Review

AATG:

"With 5 airports to choose from, a maximum of 4 inbound, 4 outbound flights, varying weather conditions, multiple airlines and 3 difficulties ranging from rookie to novice to expert, it's hardly a feature packed title. And while each individual airport ramps up the difficulty by adding extra runways, different types of flights, or even unexpected scenarios like planes that need towing, the game appears at first glance to be lacking in the longevity department. Yet somehow, I've been playing this every night before sleep for a good few weeks. And whether that's because it sends me to sleep because of its extremely hardcore sensibilities or because I'm hopelessly addicted to it is for you to decide."

TheBBPS Review: Air Traffic Chaos

TheBBPS:

"I'd definitely recommend picking the game up if you're a puzzle fan. It may look like some sort of weird plane sim, but it's really an involved nuanced puzzle game. I love when I get to play a game that isn't something I've played before. Each game I play makes that less and less likely so it's a real joy when it happens."
