Square Enix had no trouble translating big MMOs such as FFXI and FFXIV for western audiences, so they should have no trouble doing the same DQX.
The Dragon Quest series won't be as big in western markets if they continue to no export its titles over here. They've improved localizing many entrees in recent times and there's no reason to stop.
If they haven't seen much request now, then I guess it isn't enough for them. :C
