Why do you need to use your smart phone when the XBox One comes with a headset and mic. If you got the Kinect version, the Kinect is a mic as well. I wonder if you can play it without a smartphone? Can the app be loaded onto the XB1 It's dumb if you can't. Seem you don't even need the XB1 for this game.

If you’re afraid that you don’t sing well, then it’s worth mentioning that this game doesn’t penalize or force you to compete against others. The party mode lets you sing solo or with up to four people.
